Luke is Country Music's Next Superstar!
"I knew there was something special about Luke Bryan the first time I saw him in concert. I remember it like it was yesterday…It was Halloween night in 2007 at the Jacksonville, FL Fair. Luke had released his debut album, I’ll Stay Me, just weeks prior and “All My Friends Say” was just beginning to make its way up the charts. Even though there were only about 50 people in the audience that night, Luke put on a high-energy show that had everyone up on their feet. From that moment on, I knew he was going to be a star. In fact, when I met him that night, I told him so.
Since that October night at the fair, I’ve watched Luke go from playing crowds of 50 to crowds 500, 1,000, and now, to audiences of 8,000+. I’ve watched him grow as a musician, an entertainer and a songwriter. I’ve watched his singles climb the charts time and time again and I’ve cheered him on as he accepted awards for ACM Top New Artist and CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year. I’ve watched his fan-base continue grow exponentially and I’ve seen him earn Gold albums and Platinum singles.
All of these moments came full circle for me last week when I saw Luke headline back-to-back nights of “CMT ON TOUR: Luke Bryan Tailgates & Tanlines” in Southaven, MS and Auburn, AL. I got a bit emotional when I saw thousands of fans on their feet screaming and singing along to every word. It’s amazing to see someone’s career take off the way Luke’s has and the best part is, this is only just the beginning for him.
Luke Bryan was born to entertain. He has that ‘spark’, the ‘it factor’, and he’s on his way to becoming the next country music superstar. I’ve been saying this for years and it’s wonderful to see that so many others now see what I saw in Luke back in 2007 in Jacksonville, FL."

Singer Bryan turns on the charm for fans"Hey, I'm a country man!" Luke Bryan sang two songs into his set. Well, yes and no. The burgeoning heartthrob, who made his RodeoHouston debut in front of 71,007 fans Saturday night, is an urban cowboy of sorts. He sings about beer and partying and pretty girls (almost exclusively). And he dubbed the night "a dream come true" in "the house that George Strait built." (Indeed.) "This means the world to me and my band and all my folks," he said. But Bryan eschews many traditional genre elements. He bounded onstage in a backwards ball cap, V-neck T-shirt and leather bracelets. Not exactly the cowboy way. "Girl, you make my speakers go boom-boom," he teased during "Drunk on You." Traditionalists will likely scoff, but there's something effortlessly engaging about Bryan's live show. His energy and enthusiasm were relentless - and often infectious. And he never seems to be trying too hard. Bryan's ruggedly handsome looks also made for one of the loudest crowds to date. Females squealed and sighed throughout the hourlong show. Bryan played it up, flashing a sparkling white smile and shaking his hips. Cue louder screams. His tunes - "Where I Come From," "Someone Else Calling You Baby," "Beer and Wastin' Bullets" - are almost afterthoughts, standard entries designed for radio play. One runs into the next, with little variation. He's a perfect example of charisma and charm going a long way. The best moments came when Bryan mixed things up a bit. He called Dan Seals' "Everything That Glitters (is not Gold)" "The best rodeo song that I've ever heard in my life." And breakout hit "All My Friends Say" was interrupted with a few lines of Metallica's "Enter Sandman." It should have been terrible, but it wasn't, really, because he seemed to be having so much fun. Set closer "Country Girl (Shake it for Me)" met with roars of approval, and Bryan jumped offstage to dance with fans. You could almost feel the entire stadium engage in a collective swoon.

Luke Bryan Plans to Headline a Tour in 2013
We’re sure that Luke Bryan is having a blast opening for Jason Aldean‘s My Kinda Party Tour this summer, but fans who are craving more live Luke Bryan will get their wish in 2013. The ‘Drunk on You’ singer is planning to headline his own tour next year.
“We’re already throwing around set ideas and checking prices on these little knick-knacks and toys to have fun with,” Luke told Pennsylvania radio station WIOV.
Bryan has been opening for plenty of major country acts, so he’s not too concerned about getting road weary. In the past, the singer has opened for Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts, in addition to his current tour with Aldean.
Bryan has experience taking over the stage, too. He headlined CMT on Tour: Luke Bryan Tailgates & Tanlines last year, and he also took the reins for his own Farm Tour. Plus, every year for the past four years, he has commanded the stage at his annual Spring Break show in Florida.
Even though he’s frequently served as other stars’ right-hand man on tours, Bryan is looking forward to creating some competition when he goes out on his own.
“That makes everybody plan more to try to create the best tour,” he explains. “That makes country put better tours out overall throughout the whole year.”
The rising country star recently celebrated his latest album, ‘Tailgates and Tanlines’ reaching Plantinum status–but he’s not getting a big head about his success.
“The main thing is stay true to who you are,” Luke told The Boot. “When it happens unnaturally and when it’s forced, it gets a little weird. You just make sure you love it and that it’s the music that you want to be represented by. The rest is out of your hands.”
Surely, Bryan’s fans are looking forward to hearing him play their favorite tunes from the album when he takes the stage next year.

Luke Bryan Books Studio Time For Next Album
Luke Bryan has booked studio time in November to begin recording his new album. While Luke would like to shake it up a bit with his upcoming project, he's also adamant that he doesn't want to go too far out of bounds.
"We're going in the studio the middle of November and again in late December," Luke reveals. "My thing is, I don't want to change my music to where I lose the fans I've got. You want to grow your music, but you don't want to do something so out there to where you risk losing one fan."
Luke clearly knows how to pen songs that work for him, having co-written the platinum-selling hits "Country Girl (Shake it for Me)" and "I Don't Want This Night to End." He also has an ear for tunes he didn't write, as evidenced by his most recent No. 1 single, "Drunk on You," penned by Rodney Clawson, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins.
The singer says he hopes to find songs for the new album that "... grow me as an artist and make me progress further down the line. I want songs that make great albums and great records, where fans can go, 'Gosh, that new album really speaks to me as much as Tailgates and Tanlines did.' That's really the hard part, finding that balance of trying new crazy things and seeing what happens, and making an album that is not too far out there."
The Georgia native notes that he and pal Dallas Davidson (his 'Country Girl' co-writer) have already set out to write for the new collection. "We have gotten together once or twice for this next album, and both the songs we've written are really great and will be on the album."
Luke says the songwriting process can often be very revealing, in addition to being enjoyable. "It's a lot of fun sitting in a songwriting room with your buddy and you know you can't fool each other when you're writing a song," he explains. "We're just having fun while writing a great song. We know the inner workings of each other's brain. It's pretty weird and crazy and pretty special all at the same time."

Luke Bryan Extends Tour Through October - First Leg of Dirt Road Diaries Tour Sells Out
Luke BryanLuke Bryan has extended his Dirt Road Diaries tour after selling out the first series of shows. The second leg of the tour will begin May 17 in Virginia Beach, Va., and conclude Oct. 26 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line will appear on all dates. The tour launched on Thursday night (Jan. 17) in Evansville, Ind.
"I feel like I have waited a lifetime to take my own show on the road," Bryan said. "The band and I have a lot of exciting things in store for the fans and are eager to get it started!"

Luke Bryan 'Spring Break' Album Brings Party to the Beach Capitol Records While Luke Bryan is spending this winter on Dirt Roads, his spring will see a lot more sand. The 36-year-old singer will release his fifth spring break-themed album, Spring Break ... Here to Party, on March 5. The new set of tunes, which marks his first full-length album of warm weather hits, will include some of the songs from the previous four EPs, as well as a few new ones. "We kind of write 'em with college kids and Spring Break and that whole party theme in mind," Luke explains. "I think it's fun to put out songs just to get some new music out there for fans and more opportunities for them to have different types of music from me." In keeping with tradition, the married father of two will once again take a break from his regular tour schedule to head south for two shows in support of the new release. Luke will return to Spinnaker's Beach Club in Panama City, Fla. on March 12 and 13, to play while enjoying the sand and sun. "I grew up three hours from Panama City," the Georgia native explains. "I think everybody has an attraction to the water and the beach, and I've always been that way. The beach just makes you feel good, just being out on the water, the salt air, all that stuff. As a boy, we went [on] vacations there, so there's nothing like rolling the windows down and smelling the beach when you're rolling into town." Last year, Luke's appearance at the famous beachside venue drew more than 40,000 fans each day. The country star will have to endure some more cold weather before he gets to enjoy the surf. His next schedule concert is on Feb. 8 in Uniondale, N.Y., followed by stops in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.

Bryan cruised down to Florida to celebrate his latest release, ‘Spring Break…Here to Party,’ topping the Billboard country charts and giving the singer his first No. 1. He performed before 120,000 fans over a two-day period at Spinnaker’s in Panama City Beach, Florida. The gigs marked the country star’s fifth year of rocking that co-ed rite of passage known as Spring Break. At this point, the ‘I Don’t Want This Night to End’ singer is pretty much synonymous with Spring Break. It’s his “thing.” Check out the photos from the event, (below) where you can see Bryan revving up the a crowd that clearly adores him. He’s even dressed for the occasion, rocking board-length shorts and flip-flops, and he doesn’t hesitate to get up close and personal with the ladies. Yep, it’s Spring Break and LB was there to party and provide a country music soundtrack to over 100,000 college students looking to blow of some steam and have a good time.
