He sounds a little like Chris Young, although Chris' voice is a little deeper. It's nice to have someone who sounds country. Hope radio embraces him.

I thought he sounded a bit like a lot of his favorites.
He kinda seems like the metro sexual man that country needs right now.
Someone to lead the herd back to the ranch...has anyone led a herd before?
You simply take the boss cow or bull and lead him or her...the others follow.
It is time to take country music back...and recreate what we as a people want to hear.

When he is performing or writing music, Mo spends his free time training his bird dogs, fishing, or hunting anything that’s in season.
He skins his own bucks and runs his trotlines. Mo Pitney is the real deal…a country boy that could quite possibly change country music in a very big way.

At a time when country music was becoming overrun with artists whose style had more to do with pop and dance music than the traditional sounds that built Nashville, Mo Pitney enjoyed his first success as a singer and songwriter who enthusiastically embraced a classic country sound, earning a standing ovation during his first appearance at the Grand Ol' Opry. Mo Pitney was born in Cherry Valley, Illinois on March 24, 1993. Pitney's father was a part-time musician, and by the age of six, Mo was learning to play the drums. When he was 12, Pitney was recovering from a broken arm when he asked his dad to teach him to play guitar, with a towel draped over the instrument's body so as not to scratch the finish. It didn't take long for Pitney to learn a couple of Johnny Cash tunes, and he made his performing debut at a local open-mike show a few weeks later. By the age of 15, Pitney had started playing banjo, got hooked on bluegrass music, and formed an acoustic band with his friends; discovering the music of Keith Whitley opened Pitney's ears to the wave of traditionalist artists who rode the country charts in the '90s and 2000s, and Randy Travis, George Strait, and Daryle Singletary became key influences, as well as country legends such as Buck Owens and Ray Price. By the time he was 20, Pitney had moved to Nashville with an eye toward making music his career, and he landed a record contract with Curb Records. In June 2014, Pitney was invited to appear at the Grand Ol' Opry, and the unknown artist wowed the audience with heartfelt performances of his songs "Country" and "Clean Up on Aisle Five." Pitney's brief set was received with a standing ovation, and in December, Curb had released "Country" as a single. The record earned enthusiastic reviews, and Country Rebel magazine declared Pitney was "the next Randy Travis."

I have heard him sing...just like William Lee Golden!
I am concerned about hearing him sing...tomorrow.
So here I go from never ever hearing of him...
to demanding to hear more...grass roots promotion.
Kora...I like to hear him talk as much as his singing.
Everyone needs a signature song...that first hit.
I believe that Country music needs a yapper...country yap.
This is not a new idea...it has been there all along.
Tom T Hall comes to mind...along with Bill Anderson etc.
This is my idea that I had for awhile...so just so's you know.
Just start with the guitar and a story then break into song...back to story etc.
Just talk in a drawl so slow that you would think that it is molasses in December.
Now just watch...there will be some guy playing his guitar in his underwear on Broadway.
Oooops that was my last genious idea that I let slip out...

If you want to known in Nashville in less than 10 minutes...why not do this?
And then run for mayor...why not?
Dreams do come true!!!

I haven't thrown my hat into the ring yet Jo...since 2009 when I bet it against all odds on the CMA awards.
I did not have to eat my hat then and probably won't now...but have to be careful...my digestion has changed.
What would I do to make a guy like that succeed...nothing...take him of leave him...I know his voice will take him.
Though I just heard about him...I'll buy his album...today on Amazon probably.
Will he grow weary and go home to draw royalties and leaving me with an old straw hat to eat?
Who knows...I'll enjoy the moment...today...tomorrow...enjoy it again!

Now a person such as Mo...needs good management.
Tony Brown as a producer is a solid choice...he did George Straits work.
Mike Curb of Curb records is known to snatch great artists and make them squeal.
Remember the trouble that Tim McGraw had with him?
Mo needs to get away from him asap...maybe time for him to lose his voice.
Best go out that way instead of playing the crap curb wants you to play.
It is not really that good to have it on your resume...so many bad feelings in Nashville.
Look how he ruined this guy Tyler Deans career...this song was made to send a message.
All I can say at this point...is Mo you know you gotta go...fo sho! lol
