LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Are Married!
By Marisa Laudadio April 22, 2011 people.com
It's official: Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes are husband and wife!
"LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today surrounded by their closest family and friends," the bride's spokesman, Rhett Usry, confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. "They thank everyone for their well wishes."
Country star Rimes, 28, wore a Reem Acra gown as she and actor Cibrian, 37, exchanged personalized vows on Friday in front of about than 40 guests, including Cibrian's sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, from his previous marriage.
The couple had led friends and family to believe that they'd been invited to an engagement party, but surprised the guests by tying the knot at the intimate ceremony held at a private home in California.
"I'm looking forward to settling down," Rimes recently told PEOPLE of her impending nuptials. "Settling into our life."
The couple got engaged in December when Cibrian proposed with a 5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Brent Polacheck, who also crafted their wedding bands.

LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian: How We Prepared the Kids for Our WeddingBy Marisa Laudadio May 03, 2011 people.com from left to right: LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian with his sons Mason and Jake © Joe Buissink 2011 Three days before their April 22 wedding, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian sat down with his young sons to tell them about the big day and what they could expect. "The kids have known we were getting married since we got engaged," Rimes tells PEOPLE of Cibrian's sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, from his first marriage. "We explained that they were going to have two families." Adds Cibrian, 37, "The kids come first in everything we do. We wanted to make sure LeAnn and my wedding was not only ours, but their party too. They were beyond excited to celebrate us all coming together as a family." Preparing the boys for the steps ahead wasn't something the newlyweds took lightly. The couple went to therapy to figure out which words to use and how to talk to Mason and Jake about such a big concept. "It was really important for us to figure out how to explain it," says Rimes, 28, who calls herself a "bonus mom." "And they were great. They were super excited and wanted to know what they could do." The night before the ceremony, the couple took the boys to the wedding site to show them how things had been set up for the party – which included light sabers and a Star Wars-themed table for Mason, Jake and two of their closest friends. "They were at the forefront of our minds the whole time," says Rimes, whose stepsons call her "Le." "I've always felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility to them. But in that moment when I looked down at them, when we were saying our vows, it became more real than it had ever been. They don't have to be my blood children to be truly loved." LeAnn Rimes

OFFSTAGE: LeAnn Rimes, Billy Gilman Connect
05/27/11, 4:00 pm EDT
(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)
Even though LeAnn Rimes is still on her honeymoon, she's up to something musical, I think. Remember Billy Gilman, the 12-year-old boy behind 2000's country hit, "One Voice," about asking God for help down here on earth? This morning, he tweeted Rimes, saying, "hey idk if ur following me but I got an idea that I need to run by you. Follow me so I can DM u." And she replied back ten minutes later saying, "done friend." So now they can direct message each other about whatever his idea is. Maybe he's looking for a duet partner? I do think he's working on an album, because a note on his website has a loquacious but heartfelt apology to fans who wanted to see him at CMA Music Festival. "The harsh reality is that advancing a career in the music industry requires a colossal amount of pressure, painstaking work, and a tedious process that involves legal counsel and the like to absolutely ensure this is being done the correct way in the best interest of my higher career goals -- which I'm currently in the midst of. The unfortunate end-game is a hugely irreconcilable scheduling conflict that all-but-physically confines me for the month of June," he writes. Hopefully he can pencil Rimes in, though, because those two voices could sound great together.

LeAnn Rimes Opens Up About ‘Emotionally Challenging’ First Two Months of MarriageAlanna Conaway tasteofcountry.com Gerardo Mora, Getty Images It has been two months since LeAnn Rimes wed her actor beau Eddie Cibrian in a private surprise ceremony in Malibu, Calif. The 28-year-old singer has now added step-mom to her ongoing list of titles, which include songwriter, actress, and her favorite of all, wife. “I love that role more than anything in this world,” Rimes wrote in her latest blog on her website. But Rimes also is quick to point out that it hasn’t been all bliss since the April 22 nuptials. “These first two months of marriage have not gone without its share of challenges though,” she reveals. “We got married on a Friday and by the following Tuesday, I was buried in a film in Canada. My focus had to be on my work, and his was on the boys at home and the possibility of his new show ‘The Playboy Club.’” She adds, “Even though he came to visit me on the weekends and I went home on the weekends when we had the boys, it was far from a ‘honeymoon.’ It was emotionally challenging for both of us to be away from each other as we had just become husband and wife. After finishing a three-and-a-half-week long shoot in Canada, we did get to take a wonderful honeymoon to Cabo! It was pure heaven!” “It’s been quite overwhelming, but as a team, we are tackling it together,” Rimes continues. “Needless to say, it’s been a challenging first two months of marriage. I’m so proud of us and other couples who tackle life’s obstacles together as one. It makes you stronger as a couple. The communication skills we have developed in the past few months and the solid foundation we are laying down in our marriage is a fascinating process and a revelation.” As Rimes continues to balance career and life at home with her new family, she knows that any of life’s challenges that are thrown their way can be faced as a team — as long as they remember to love and respect each other. “We have two loving, dedicated hearts, committed to celebrating each other’s successes and making the challenges work, no matter what,” Rimes writes. “I think that’s what marriage is all about … support, understanding, respect, compromise and most of all love and laughter!”

LeAnn Rimes Releasing Fitness Video
LeAnn Rimes and her trainer to prove country star is healthy, not suffering from eating disorder
LeAnn Rimes is tired of gossips speculating that she has an eating disorder.
The country star is adamant that, despite her extremely thin frame, she's perfectly healthy. And The Boot reports that Rimes is creating her own fitness video to prove it.
'We're in the process of putting a video together that [LeAnn] will post to her blog so that people will see what it is that we're doing to get her in shape,' her fitness trainer, Michael Jackson told Fox News. "I know she's really anxious to show people that she takes [fitness] seriously.'
Rimes, 28, recently told People magazine that she finds the talk – which started after she posted pictures of herself in a bikini on Twitter — irritating. 'For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it's very frustrating,' she said. 'People are calling me bulimic or anorexic, and these are real issues and diseases — that I don't have … I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way.'
The fitness video is slated to appear on her website next month.
The Blue hitmaker is currently on tour, with a stop scheduled at the Camrose Regional Exhibition in Alberta on July 29.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Renew Wedding VowsBy Alison Schwartz people.com April 28, 2012 LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Tiffany Rose/WireImage Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon aren't the only ones saying "I do" again. In the spirit of their first anniversary, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian also took time to revisit their wedding day on Friday. Renewed our vows today....it's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife," Rimes Tweeted that evening. "Here's to another great year!" The couple also enjoyed some one-on-one time at the beach. "Eddie and I went climbing on the rocks in the ocean yesterday to see the thousands of crabs," she wrote Saturday. Rimes, 29, and Cibrian, 38, who wed in private on April 22 last year, kicked off their celebration last week with a romantic lunch in California. The country singer also Tweeted about staying at the house the two tied the knot in. To mark the milestone, Rimes said she bought Cibrian a watch. His gift? Another very special accessory: a ring (to compliment her 5-carat engagement sparkler, of course). "Thank you all for the beautiful anniversary wishes," she previously Tweeted. "Woooo hoooo it's been a year. Here's to many many more!!!"

LeAnn Rimes Talks Tour, New Music and Family Life on the Road
More than 15 years into her career, LeAnn Rimes has seemingly come into her own as artist, wife and step-mother of two, striking an important balance between her work and personal life. In an interview with radio station 1130 the Tiger, the Grammy Award-winning singer spoke candidly about the importance of the quality relationships in her life.
“We had our ups and downs for sure,” says Rimes, speaking about her longtime label home, Curb Records. “I always had an open relationship with the head of the label. It’s definitely been a great ride.”
Despite the self-professed functioning business relationship, the singer is quick to divulge that her next studio album is the last contractually-obligated project with the Nashville-based label. With that information in mind, Rimes assures listeners the new album is anything but a rushed project to fulfill a business contract.
“I’m working on a new record … we’re finishing up. I love it,” she confesses. “I’ve written two-thirds of it. It’s super fun and heartbreaking and all the emotions in between. It’s called ‘Spitfire.’”
As she wraps recording in the upcoming summer months, the Texas native will also stay busy traveling the country. Even with her legion of loyal fans, Rimes admits that her favorite place to perform may be a more personal, intimate venue.
The singer spilled that her two young stepsons are fascinated by her career. “I always — at least once a year — have them ask to sing for their class,” she spills. “They want me to sing for their class. It’s fun to be able to do that.”
When she and her husband Eddie Cibrian — who just celebrated their one-year anniversary — are not visiting the local elementary schools, the happy family can be found on the road together. “They come on tour sometimes,” Rimes shares on bringing the kid on tour. “They love the tour bus. It’s like a jungle gym for them.”
But what can fans expect for the string of shows leading up to the release of Rimes’ next project? “We’ve broken things down into an intimate setting,” says the ‘Crazy Women’ singer. “I encourage people to talk to me — open dialogue with my fans.”
“It’s more of a singer-songwriter ‘Storytellers’ situation, where I play stuff off ‘Lady & Gentleman,’ stuff off the new album and some the hits,” says Rimes. “It’s a wide variety of things.”
Fans who are unable to wait until November for ‘Spitfire’ to hit stores can catch Rimes previewing new tracks live. The singer will continue to tour the country through the end of the year.
