Awesome thread and music Mike.
You know I love, love, love the violins but I also love the build and mood changes. It's what I love most about classical music....the whole completeness of it from beginning to end. The build and the emotion.
Whoever did the First Blood in alignment with the soundtrack put a lot of work into it and it was seamless....awesome.
I look forward to what you'll add as time goes along. : )

Awesome...and awesome. Towering Inferno is one of hubby's favorite old movies. He always looks forward to the big disaster flick of the summer and now that we can go see them in IMAX, it's even more fun. : )

The Inspector, aka A Shot In The Dark - Henry Mancini
This is the original version from the film A Shot In The Dark. When the DePatie-Freleng animation studio, which had started a long-running series of Pink Panther cartoons after doing the animated title sequence for that film, began a follow-up series based on Peter Sellers' Clouseau character, a shorter version of A Shot In The Dark's theme was created by William Lava.
