Right now I've been thinking about what music I should put on my wish list for Christmas (my FIL emailed and asked for a list). I think I'm leaning toward Gene Watson's new CD along with Breelan Angel's debut CD. When we saw Loretta Lynn in concert here a year or so ago, Breelan opened for her and was really good.
Have you made your Christmas wish list? Are you getting music for Christmas too?
On a wider frame of what's been happening, son moved back home with us a year ago so he could take a unpaid research position at one of the big cancer hospitals here in Houston. They finally put him on the payroll so he and his girlfriend are getting an apartment together. It'll be available in three weeks so he'll be moving out again. We'll be empty nesters once more.
My mom lost one of her legs to diabetes this year and now lives in a nursing home. They moved her into a permanent room just today.
How's your family?

^^^ My mom and me are still here thank the Lord, but sadly my dad is still here too, a person that I grow to resent more and more with each passing day. He doesn't care what has to be done in order to get whatever it is that he wants.

I'm so sorry that you have problems with your dad. Sending hugs. More hugs. Even more hugs. Stress can really build up. Is there anything I can do to help?
