Yes i most be a great taco bell employee.My job coash called me tonight she talked to my boss today he wants to give me more days and hours to work. I'll find out tomorow when i go to work what the days and hours are.I was hired last month to work only weekend mornings btw.

Great news trisha.
Morning all, gosh it has been so, so hot hear the last few days I am scorched and sore, not been sunbathing just taking kids to school, shopping etc.
Last night was the best nights sleep in days due to the heat, it was slightly cooler and more comfy.
Well its the weekend of our Copper Ketrtle Music Festival, Roger & Malc been on site since last Friday making sure everything runs smoothly.
Val the kids and me will be going tonight with all the things Rog forgot lol plus some of our own last minute bits & Pieces.
Will have to do a bit of shopping on way as we usually make our own breakfast and lunch as we don't have time to stop and eat as we work.

Sounds like here Mary - so hot you can't breath! I know we wanted warmer weather - but we got too much too fast! Today has been a rough day for me - when I was a teenager I broke my collarbone (shoulder). It healed and has been fine until the last 6 months or so. I was looking at it the other day and it looked to me like the bones had shifted. It has been really painful and I can't sleep on that side. I also can't sleep on my stomach - which is my favorite sleeping position. Anyway, one of the shoulder specialists was in at work today and he looked at it for me. He said it could just be arthritis setting in - but he is going to send me for x-ray and MRI just to be sure nothing else is wrong. He also gave me a shot of cortisone. After that my arm felt amazing - no pain and I could move it all around. It had gotten to the point where I couldn't type too much or my arm would get sore - and since 90% of my job involves typing I knew I had to do something about it. Well.........the shot was amazing BUT - a couple hours ago the freezing wore off and now I'm in more pain than I was before!!  I hate to do it because I have to work tomorrow - but I think I'm going to have to take a sleeping tablet tonight or I won't get any sleep! I can't seem to get comfortable no matter what I do! Anyway, I know there are those with worse problems than me - but right now it's hard to get past the pain! That's my whining and moaning for the day.  |

Oh dear Kim, do hope you are feeling better now and managing to get comfortable.
The Copper Kettle went well but unfortunately we had rain and cold weather which spoils it a little.
As it is the longest day next week I think we must have had our Summer in March when we had all that extremely hot weather as all we have now is rain wind and cold brrrr.
Getting ready for our Broken Spoke Country Music Festival at the end of August now and hoping - fingers crossed for good weather!!

Hi there Monkeesfan hope all is well with you.
The weather, gee that is funny never known anything like it, red hot March and part of April from then on torrential rain leaving floods all over then hot weather again for a couple of days then back to rain. This has been going on now since April and its horrid, I really feel for the folk living in the flood areas they must be afraid as some places had a months rain in one night.
