Anyone have any plans for New Years Eve? Normally we go to the local junior teams New Years hockey game in the afternoon and then to my parents for chinese food after, but son will be in Niagara Falls for the New Years celebration, daughter and her fiance are going to a party and my hubby is working afternoon shift - so the dog and I will likely just watch TV.

^^^ My mom and me were given a $25.00 gift card to IHOP for Christmas, so Lord willing and all we will be there on the night of New Years Eve.  Holly |

Hi Kim, Rog Val, Ian & the kids are goi nf to the local club where we go eavery year, Miki & Rob will not be with us as she is working.

Holly I wish they had IHOP here in Canada - the commercials that I've seen for them, their food looks good. Depending on the weather, hubby and I might go down to St. Catharines to visit my son and his girlfriend and go cross-boarder shopping again. St. Catharines is about 20 minutes from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, so we go across the Niagara Falls, NY to shop and I'm sure they have them there. It's so hard because there are so many places there they don't have here like Fridays, Olive Garden and a few others. Can't remember for sure, but I think my son said there is a Cracker Barrel there too and I've been dying to try that! |

I think my son said there is a Cracker Barrel there too and I've been dying to try that! If you have never been to Cracker Barrel, you are missing a lot! If you ever get to come across one, check it out! Holly |

Holly You sound like my kids! lol - When they were younger my parents used to take them on vacations (I was working trying to make ends meet at the time and had no extra money - thank heavens for my mom and dad) and whenever they would go to Florida or to the east coast (Nova Scotia) to visit my aunt - they went through parts of the States that had Cracker Barrel and they always ate there. All I keep hearing from my kids was how good it is!!  |

Wont be doing anything tonight i'll be asleep at midnight.I havnt stayed up to ring in a new year in years.Im going to Cracker Barrel tomorow for lunch i'll be geting a free meal thanks to a gift card i got for Christmas.
