I first heard about this girl when I saw she won the Texaco Country Showdown in January. I try to watch every year, and I haven't been too impressed with the last few winners, but when I heard this girl sing I wanted to keep my eye on her. She had her album done by the same guy who did Holly Williams album..and I think the Civil Wars too...anyways, she posted on FB that her album debuted at #13 on the charts, which is no small feat for anyone. Love her sound, very country, very traditional, but has a modern edge to it. So anyways, Crystal Yates, check her out at the vids below..
