2015 Grammy Hall of Fame Inductees:
Recordings ranging from a 1909 gospel recording to the Sex Pistols’ epochal punk album are among the 2015 inductees into the Recording Academy’s Grammy Hall of Fame.
The 27 new inductees, which cut across the entire spectrum of musical genres, brings the total list of Hall of Fame titles (both albums and single recordings) to 987. Each year a special member committee determines a group of recordings, at least 25 years old, which exhibit qualitative or historical importance.
Hall of Fame titles are displayed in an interactive exhibit at the Grammy Museum in downtown L.A. This year’s inductees will be commemorated in a collector’s edition book that will also focus on the Grammy Foundation’s Grammy Camp program and its preservation and archiving initiatives.
Recording Academy prexy and CEO Neil Portnow said in a statement, “This year’s Grammy Hall Of Fame entries not only represent a diverse collection of influential and historically significant recordings but also reflect the changing climate of music through the decades. These memorable, inspiring and iconic recordings are proudly added to our growing catalog — knowing that they have become a part of our musical, social, and cultural history.”

I get to be the first to vote in your poll. : )
I voted "no" I won't be watching but then I haven't watched any music award shows in several years.
I do have Glen Campbell's album and his song is a heartbreaker. Also have Lee Ann Womack's album and I'm glad to see she's gotten some attention. I started buying her music back when I only had money to buy three or four albums a year. Fell in love with her song "I'll Think of a Reason Later" and have followed her ever since.
Congrats to Taylor....she's done well and she could walk away with the big prize once again. : )

I haven't heard Michael ...did Taylor win last night? No Jo... she struck out...3 in a row.
The winner of the album of the year was "Beck" with 300,000 albums sold...kinda lame but thats the Grammys.
Rosanne Cash won 3 Grammys to add to her collection.
After the awards show she went to a club with Jay Z and their crew.
The club was closed down by the fire marshall...and Taylor and her girls laughed all the way to the limo.
Did you know that Jay Z is the most powerful man in the music business today?
I think he made well over 100 million last year...not counting his wifes Beyonces earnings.
Taylor is at the top ...or at least not too far behind for a kid of 25!

Michael,
I know there are many, many awards in Taylor's future.
I don't know who Beck is but that's not unusual for me. : )
Beyoncé is a Houston girl and such a sweetheart that I loosely know about her, Jay Z and Blue Ivy (IV - Jay Z's lucky number). Not sure I've ever heard a Jay Z song though.
