This is such a great song....classic. Sammi remained friends with Waylon and Willie the rest of her life after joining the 70's outlaw country movement.
Sammi dropped out of school when she was eleven and began to sing professionally in nightclubs. She got married when she was fifteen and was divorced in her early 20's.
