I just discovered Miranda Lambert is the female that sings 'Today I Started Loving You Again' with Buddy Jewell on his first cd.
I hope this worked...I'm on my Kindle Fire HD and haven't tried this on it before.

Jane,
It did work...and such a lovely reminder of this song. Buddy won Nashville Star that year. I think Miranda came in third.
I still follow Buddy. Love him. When Miranda sings country, I absolutely love her too.

Great singer. This guy should have been a bigger star.

Welcome to the board tevis.
I know you like LBT and Buddy. Who are some of your other favorites? : )

Thanks There are a lot of them. Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Justine Moore, just to name a few. Plus a bunch of less known or underrated artists.

tevis,
I have a lot of favorites myself, including a bunch of less known artists.
My very favorite, for decades and decades and decades has been George Strait. I have Garth, Luke and Justin music on my Ipod.
We all wander around doing our own thing here. It's very relaxed.
Since I meander with my music, I tend to post on the "Ain't Nothin' Wrong With the Radio" thread a lot. It doesn't have a direction or a central theme other than to just listen to the music anyone who posts on it is in the mood to share that particular moment. Then the next thing may be something entirely different. It doesn't matter. It just goes with the flow of whoever feels like posting there, when and if they feel like doing so.
Until a few years ago, I was a mostly a mainstream country fan. I grew up with it but then, in my teen years, liked pop. Then ...yes, it's true...disco. Then urban cowboy. Then country again. But then I worked at an NPR radio station and it was the usual variety of NPR all day...mostly classical. Never really did get into the opera. My hubby likes alt-rock. Our son likes...well, all genres of music in one form or another.
So I tend to lean neo trad country for my personal preferences but at 54, there's been a variety of influences in my life. There are for all of us and we all love what we love.
I tend to be a bit wordy. : )
