I think we should have a sub sub sub category for the three best Willie Nelson duets. The man has sang with everyone. What and awesome idea… I will go ahead and start it from the most recent duets. It may be very hard top come up with only three... But it sounds like a wonderful journey trying to get there. For the first submission here is Willie and Paula Nelson's duet. I absolutely love the studio that will he is he in… Bruce Robison AKA Mr. Kelly Willis... has been making these awesome videos in his studio. I don't know what it is about this Texas family... But I am so grateful that they are keeping real country music alive! ❤️

Excellent choice. So often we see Lukas and Willie together. Nice to see him with Paula.
Willie is short of breath in this video. Could just be a high pollen count. I hope that's all it is.

I am afraid that Willie has lost so much long capacity that going forward he will have to compensate in someway… it is very hard to face the reality that my favorite singer songwriter ever could be a memory in a moment. I would like to share this video with you of Ward Davis singing with a couple of his pals… I hope this one would qualify as a submission to Willies duets... or would this be called a Triet?

Michael,
That hits every single part of what I love about country music.
I love they included a picture of Ed Bruce in the video...and ended the song with one of his lyrics. I love, love, love, love, love Ed.

I'm going to go for a trio too. Ray Price, Willie and Merle. We saw Ray in concert after he was diagnosed with the cancer that got him a few months later. He sounded as awesome as always and put on a heckuva show. He was so gracious about his cancer and talked about his deep faith.
