I like e-readers because they make books available to people who live in areas that don't have book stores and don't have many books in the library. Like me. HA HA

If it makes you feel any better, more and more of the new material in our library system are in languages other than English so I can't read and/or listen to/watch them anyway. The foreign language sections are growing up leaps and bounds.
Same thing with Walmart...can't hardly findly any music in English anymore. It's all foreign language music.

I prefer the actual book. I curl up and it's just the book and me.

We don't have an foreign language section at our library. As for Wal-Mart, I can't find many CDs there at all anymore. Foreign language or otherwise

Me too. I really like their pre-order price guarantee on music.
There'll be a price for a CD when you order it but if, on the day of release, there's an advertised price anywhere else that's cheaper, Amazon automatically adjusts your price to the lowest offered sale price for that date and sends you an email telling you by how much they've adjusted what they charged you. I don't even think about it anymore....I just pre order and know it'll even out. I used to wait until the music was released so I could get the sale price somewhere.
Smart strategy on their part.

I wish they wouldn't deal with the postal service though. The postal service is the worst...

I have a Kindle. Love it! I like having the choice of what to read and not having to drag around the hard copies. However, I do still love to turn a page.
