I just finally got my Kobo e-reader in today - and I can't wait to get using it. I love to read - but carrying books everywhere isn't always handy. This is so slim and compact it fits right in my purse. Can't wait to figure it out and get using it. This is the one I got (mine is the lilac colored one):  |

I have been thinking about getting one of these. Haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I should do some more research on it. My Sister has a SONY, she loves it!

That's cool Tina. If you go to the Kobo website they have lots of free books you can download. I check it out every so often and usually find a couple on there that I would read.

Hey Kim! I was playing around on my Kobo, and I just can't seem to figure out how to check my e-mails. Do you know if I'm suppose to be able to do it? I can go to yahoo.ca, enter my Username & Password, but it just doesn't login. I can login to Facebook, with no problem. Thanks! ps. And yes I have gotten a few books from Kobo.com, although I get most of mine from www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/cms_content?page=928515&sp=110934 They change them up quiet often |

Hey Kim, thanks. I did find one Yahoo Mobile site...it just takes forever to load. But that one works. I'm thinking its simpler taking my laptop if I want to check emails!

Just figured out how to get library e-books through kindle. They a lot of e-books that are not available at the actual library. I'm currently reading two different series on there and it wojld have cost me a lot of money to buy the books. I love it

I do the Kindle library book thing too....it's' so neat to just go online and instantly have the book you want to read.

Most of the time I can find whatever I want. I like it better than actually going to the library.

With the new bestsellers, I can usually get the physical book from the library several months before the Kindle book is available so I do both...but on the older books, it's really nice to get the ebook because the physical book has been more likely to have been near a kitty cat sometime in his lifespan and if it has, I can't read it anyway. I just have to dump it back in the bookdrop and sanitize my hands.
I do so love cats...and dogs...and many things I'm allergic to but cats are my worst allergy and I've learned to just punt the book if a cat person had it in their house.
Another great reason to love e-books. : )

You don't really know where library books have been. I've seen questionable stains on some of them. LOL
