I haven't been here much lately - and I will be missing a lot over the next while. I have some health issues I'm dealing with and may have to be in the hospital for a bit. I'll try to keep you updated.

Thanks so much Holly and Trisha. It may not be as bad as I originally thought! The internet is a very dangerous thing - going with my symptoms, etc., I had myself diagnosed with ovarian cancer!  Not to be gross or anything - but let's just say I am at the age where I haven't had my monthly visitor for almost 2 years - and then suddenly I got it last week - worse than ever before!! I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday and she sent me for blood tests, ultrasound, etc. and said that I may have to be referred to a gynecologist. Well that freaked me out and I went online looking things up for myself!! It may be something as simple as just having a minor procedure - in the hospital in the morning - out in the afternoon - so I won't be missing like I thought. And hopefully, I will be feeling well enough to go to the Keith Urban show on Saturday!! I would die if I had to miss that - I've waited so long for this - but of course - my health is first and foremost! |

Thanks Karen and Holly - appreciate it. Just spent 10+ hours in the emergency department!  Turns out I have endometrioisis - yay! NOT! I have to have a biopsy - but otherwise I should be okay. Thanks again ladies! |

Hi Kim. just got back and so sorry to hear your news, please don't worry I am sure the medics will take good care of you.
I was in a similar situation nearly 5 years ago so if you need to talk I am always here from you.

Thanks everyone for the great wishes. You are all such wonderful friends. Turns out it was/is ovarian cancer - but stage one which is very, very early. I'm undergoing treatment (which isn't always pleasant but I must say much better than the alternative!) I have finished the first round of treatment and on a break for a few weeks before the next round. I will post when I can.
Thanks again for all the positive thoughts and prayers.

Hope you get better soon. Thank you - I appreciate that. I'm going into the last week of my 3 week break - then I have treatment from the week of November 29th for 3 weeks. Then I get blood work done and hopefully the treatment worked and all will be well! |

Hi Kim, Do hope you are feeling better n ow and that whatever treatment you are getting is doing its job. Sorry i have not been on here much but we have been visiting hospitals with Roger who has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. just started his radiotherapy on Monday and has two weeks daily to have - fingers crossed for the both of you.
Hope all my other friends on here are keeping well, miss talking to you and hope to be here a little more once all these hospital visits get out of the way. Take care xx
