Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, released from the Colts earlier this year, has agreed to join the Denver Broncos after the most intense free-agent recruiting campaign the NFL has ever seen. Denver, the Tennessee Titans, the San Francisco 49ers, the Miami Dolphins, and briefly the Seattle Seahawks all recruited Manning for their teams, with Peyton's movements tracked live on NFL Network.
With a 141-67 lifetime record and a 9-10 playoff record with one Superbowl title, Manning has thrown for nearly 55,000 yards and 399 touchdowns. He missed all of 2011 due to multiple surgeries on his neck but is considered healthy now.
