May 24, 2013 Travis Tritt Releases Duet with Daughter Tyler Reese By Sarah Wyland gactv.com Travis Tritt’s 2013 album, The Calm After… Photo courtesy of Shock Ink. Travis Tritt will celebrate Father’s Day by releasing “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough,” a remake of the Patty Smyth and Don Henley hit he recorded with his 15-year-old daughter, Tyler Reese. The single will be available June 16 and is featured on his new album, The Calm After…, out July 9. “We were driving home from a wedding in Florida when the song came up on my iPod,” Travis said of how the duet came to be. “She started singing along in the backseat. When we got home I told my wife that I thought Tyler Reese could really do a great job on this. I know I sound like a biased parent, but she’s got a lot of talent and charisma. The recording speaks for itself. She really nailed it.” The Calm After… is an updated release of his 2007 album, The Storm. Last year, Travis received ownership of the album’s masters from his former record label, which was the first step that led to the formation of his own Post Oak Recordings. “I’ve been talking about starting my own record label for five years, and it all hinged on having those masters back in my control,” Travis said. “I feel so humbled and blessed to be where I am right now. My voice has never been stronger, I’m constantly playing and working to become a better guitar player, banjo player, vocalist and songwriter. I am honestly as excited about the creative process and performing now as I was the day I signed my first record deal.” “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” will also be available for free download through People Country magazine from May 24 until Father’s Day.

Dance Club Community Reacts To Travis Tritt’s “High Time For Gettin’ Down” (October 29, 2013 – Nashville, Tenn.) – Nashville-based venue marketing company, Marco Club Connection, has released Travis Tritt’s high-energy song, “High Time For Gettin’ Down” to country dance clubs across the United States. Released to nearly 240 venues and dance instructors across the country, the song has already proven to be a success with DJs adding the song into rotation on their playlists and instructors taking the dance to educate venue patrons on how to ‘get down’ to “High Time For Gettin’ Down.” The track has inspired choreographers and dance instructors to create line dances, including one by choregrapher Donna Manning, which can be seen here. Dance sheets for the song are currently being produced and will be made available available for fans to download at www.MarcoClubConnection.com. “When I heard the track for the first time, I instantly knew it would be a success within the dance club marketplace. The song’s traditional country feel made it perfect for an east coast swing, a jive, or even a single step swing,” said Marco Club Connection Venue Specialist, Bianca Valentino. Club owners and instructors are also speaking out about the song and the reaction they are already receiving. “Tried out ‘High Time For Gettin’ Down’ with my group today and they went nuts,” said Patti Nivens, a choreographer/line dance instructor from New Jersey. “They were up on their feet in no time.” Bronco Jim, a DJ from Keelersville Club in Pennsylvania added, “I’ve always loved this song! The crowd just loves it and I put it in high rotation right away. It is great for my club.” Marco Club Connection is promoting the track to club owners, DJs and dance instructors across the U.S. Country venues or dance clubs interested in joining the campaign should contact Bianca Valentino atbianca@marcoclubconnection.com or at 615-269-7071. AS DREAMERS DO is the story of Walt Disney's early life, as never seen before. Nashville, TN (PRWEB) December 30, 2013
A Nashville based crew has begun production on AS DREAMERS DO – an independent biopic focusing on the early life of Walt Disney in the mid-west. Director Logan Sekulow is leading this story of Walt’s all-American ambition, which stars a cast full of young actors. With principal photography taking place in the Nashville area, there’s no escaping music. Legends from the world of Christian, Country and Rock music have joined the cast and crew, as well.
The film stars Olan Rogers as Walt Disney. Rogers, local to Nashville, has garnered international attention with his dedicated social media following and a YouTube channel with over half a million subscribers. Collectively, Rogers reaches nearly 800,000 fans through his online presence and stars in the Fandango.com web series Admit One. Fans of Walt Disney will rejoice in Rogers’ dazzling on-screen performance, strong physical resemblance to Walt, and entrepreneurial drive akin to Disney’s.
Every good story needs a storyteller. Travis Tritt, Country music legend and Grammy award winner, will portray the Narrator. His southern charm and spirit harkens back to the Walt Disney live action classics of the 50’s and 60’s. He will guide the audience every step of the way on the journey through the good and bad times of Walt’s young life.
Rounding out Walt’s family are Mark Stuart (Audio Adrenaline, HERO: The Rock Opera) as his father Elias, Tyler Hayes (Musician/Speaker) as his mother Flora and Ryan Dunlap (Leave Me) as Walt’s older brother Roy.
AS DREAMERS DO is a film for families to enjoy, but with an art house twist. The movie features scenes that will visually evoke the beauty and creativity of Walt’s mind. Expect magic as an animated train pulls into Marceline or as Walt’s childhood “dreaming tree” literally comes to life with his ideas. “This movie is a passion project for me. Since before I went to in film school I dreamed of telling a story like this,” said Director Logan Sekulow. “Walt has been a lifelong inspiration, and I hope to share this often-untold adventure in a unique, creative and entertaining way. I’m a hardcore Walt fan, and we will not disappoint.”
AS DREAMERS DO is scheduled for release in Spring 2014.
