Alina Tatum moved to Nashville and pursued a career in Country Music, but they didn't want her to yodel. Well....as Nashville goes anymore....she put out an album that wasn't HER and it didn't go anywhere. She had a fantastic voice and had put out a "cover" album of different artists on a local label in Texas and I have it and it is great! She also put out another album locally and I have it, also. Long story short....after Nashville did her no favors in trying to change her into someone she wasn't....she wound up getting married and she and her husband had a little boy about a year ago, so it looks like her great career in Country Music has ended. She's enjoying just raising her family now.
As for Kacey Musgraves....as everyone probably knows has put out one album and I think she has her second one out now and has toured with Kenny Chesney and others....not sure who, though. I was always more of an Alina Tatum fan than a Kacey Musgraves fan.
I LOVED the yodeling of BOTH of these girls! Just wish Nashville would have let Alina continue some of that! Like I said earier...I have 2 albums by Alina......locally produced and the one called the "Texas Two Bits" by Alina and Kacey when they were very young.
Alina was/is a fantastic yodeler. She has been compared to Elton Britt! Loved that girl's singing and yodeling!

I had been friends with Alina Tatum Sanders for many years on and off Facebook but right now it appears she has dropped out of Facebook and is not active on the Internet anymore, at least that I can see. Hope she and her family are well
