I wonder why they didn't release the first version of "The Girl I Knew Somewhere".

I think it was because at the time (January 1967) Don Kirshner was still in charge of Colgems - they redid "Girl I Knew Somewhere" for release on the next single before Kirshner got fired by Columbia.

That makes sense Mike. There's a lot of that in the recording industry.
Shouldn't it be about time for a new AKUS album? I love everything they do and it'd be awesome to add to what they've already done.
The SheDaisy is so sad.
