Michael,
I'm glad you are okay. It's horrible there was damage so near to you and for so many other people across so many states. The recent storms have been terrible.
We've been getting heavy rain this evening but thankfully, knock on wood, it's just rain.
Stay safe.

I have been prepared for tornadoes for a long time I am sure they could do quite a bit of damage especially to new homes. The original part of the house has oak lumber with square headed nails. You cannot pull these nails out because they're like welded in... I think a tornado would pick up the house like in the Wizard of Oz rather than destroy it like all the subdivisions that you see completely leveled. I thought I made it through the storm quite well until one last bolt lightning hit in the front yard... and that it was immediately quiet... With a storm rolling off towards the east. No one gets away from mother nature… I know you deal with hurricanes which takes tornadoes to a whole other level.

Dwayne is a passionate and adventurous entrepreneur who has always been fascinated by the great outdoors. He founded the Dry Creek Wrangler School in Tennessee, where he taught people from all over the world how to ride horses, herd cattle, and live like cowboys. Thanks to his unique teaching style and commitment to preserving Western values, Dwayne's school became a favorite among visitors and locals alike.
Recently, Dwayne made the bold decision to move his entire operation to Wyoming, where he hopes to continue his mission of spreading cowboy culture and sharing his love for the land. As you can tell from the stunning landscape in his latest video, Dwayne's new location promises to be the perfect setting for his school, which will teach aspiring cowboys and cowgirls how to ride, rope, and live like real, authentic Westerners.
If you're planning a trip to the West anytime soon, don't miss the chance to shake Dwayne's hand and experience the thrill of wrangling under his expert guidance. His school is sure to be a highlight of any Wyoming vacation, and you'll come away with great memories and a newfound appreciation for the Western way of life.

I wish I had half the brains my husband has. Or our son for that matter.
I'm the practical one in our family. They're more ... cosmos.

I just heard this bit of news today. President Trump had asked Dolly Parton to be a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Honor but she first said her husband was ill and then there was Covid. Now President Biden has asked her and she refused saying she didn't want to be partisan. This new song from her new rock album dives into politicians. She was asked in a recent interview which politicians she was talking about. Her reply was all of them.

Michael,
I'm sure you know that the members of Home Free are former military members.
May your Memorial Day weekend be filled with the honor and respect you so richly deserve for your service to our country. God Bless You.

Jo... I would like to wish you and your hubby hey wonderful memorial day this year. I have been so busy downsizing that I really have time to socialize much. I do manage to take one photograph of one of my autograph photos and do a AI introduction for it and file it. As long as I have a routine I manage to keep my ship out of rough waters. Everything seems to be moving so fast lately… maybe it's because I am retired and I am living solo with three dogs. By the way this happened on my wife's birthday this May 22… our dog Daisy died at 15 years old… I thought. I took it really hard and carried her all around the yard and then finally later in her bed with the intention of burying her the next day...At 3 o'clock in the morning I heard her little toenails tapping on the tile... She was alive! Evidently she was in a diabetic coma… the night before I remember looking for something trying to remember what was my wife used to give to little Yorkies that act this way. I was able to get some molasses and put on the roof of her mouth before I thought she was dead. I think that's what brought her out of it but the next day at the feed store I bought some Nutra Cal… That was what I was trying to remember. The problem I have now is that I've told everyone she had passed away and already went through the condolence phase. Now I am in a conundrum as what to do... Do I tell everyone Daisy still alive… or do I just let it ride because no one will probably come to the house cares anyway? I think I'm just gonna let it ride… but you Jo... know the truth! Well I have to go now… I have some people coming by in a few minutes to purchase all of my propane. It seems that I was prepared for the end of the world… but no one else does... So I'll just sit here and sell it all. 👍🙏🙏
Happy memorial day to you and all of our veterans and all of our beloved! 🙏❤️🙏

Michael,
I’m so very glad Daisy came out of her diabetic coma. That was a close one.
If it were me I’d tell people the story if they brought her up in conversation but I wouldn’t bring it up. It’s so sad when an animal companion dies so I wouldn’t want to revisit that pain for others.
May 22nd for your wife. I’m sorry I know how hard those days are. My sister’s birthday was May 23rd.
Have I mentioned our childhood dog was named Daisy?
I love the video. Great song. Great singers. Great voices.

…..about downsizing… so great to do. Emotional a lot of the time but I’m a big fan of upcycling. Donating so other people can find use or new use in what we are no longer using.
Big thumbs up. I knows it’s hard work.

This was in my youtube feed this morning but I have been reading about other States sending National Guard to help Texas on the border. This stuff always makes me cry. A carryover from prayer vigils as our military community sent our husbands off to war and then the news that we had lost some in our community. It's been a long time ago for me now but it'll always be deeply emotional for me. May God continue to Bless our National Guard and military members.
