Thanks Jane. My daughter and son-in-law live about an hour away from me. My son and his fiance just bought a house in the same area and move in next year. Once they are gone hubby and I are selling our house and buying a condo closer to them, but not in the same area as I'm still working and don't want too long of a drive. Kim, you are fortunate that your daughter lives that close to you and can visit pretty often. My grandson and his wife and their 2 little daughters live in the northwest part of Arkansas so we don't get to see them but maybe once or twice a year. They might get to come down sometime this summer. They are both school teachers so they are pretty confined until the summer months. Thank goodness for pictures, but it's just not the same. This is off-topic, but is youneverknow (Jolene) still on here? I haven't seen her in awhile. I don't post a lot, but I come here a lot! I know her mom hasn't been well. I hope she's O.K. I was wondering about Jolene also Jane. I sent her an email yesterday but so far no answer. I hope everything is ok. |

Garbage!
People before my shift tonight didn't do their damned job and as a result I had to waste 30 damned minutes cleaning up something somebody else was supposed to have cleaned up before I got there.
I want to kill somebody right now!!!

Finally back in....computer decided to eat my bookmarks so had to regroup.
Congrats on the new bambina Kim...I love being a grandma...to all 8 of them. Each is so different than the others.

Got an email from Jolene. she has been busy helping her sister recover from a broken leg, but she hopes to be back with us soon.

My day.....first day of retirement....sort of. My principal has a bunch of grant money for next year so he talked me into coming back for a special project two days a week in the Fall....but basically, I'm done. So much to do at home I'll be busier than ever, but on my terms....

Jolene, so glad to "see" you! I've been missing you. I've thought a lot about you and your mom and hoping everything is OK! I don't post a lot, but I do check in often to see what's happening. Hi Jane, I always miss you when I don't see you too. : ) My mom is okay. Son has been in alcohol rehab for the past while. We're on the outpatient stage now. Life flows on.
