Sunday I went to Splitsville, a bowling alley-sports bar in Foxboro, MA to watch the Superbowl. I had my radio and it was ten seconds ahead of the TV - I shouted whenever the Patriots did something. It was hilarious when they scored and the others were puzzled before it showed up on the TV.

Well, I hate to sound sad, but I am. First of all.....my beloved brother passed away Monday after suffering with Parkinson's disease for approximately 10 years and today I think my beloved XP desktop computer crashed, My printer is connected to it and I'm not sure it will work with my laptop. I think the software it has which I love might not work on anything beyond XP

What a bummer of a day for you, Jane. And I am sorry to hear about your brother. With his disease lasting so long, he is better off now. I know you will miss him. I loved my computer with XP, too, but it stopped connecting to the internet. I now have a Dell with Windows 8.1. I hate the tiles. It's good you have your laptop. My printer is working with the new computer. |

My day almost ended before it started - it snowed this morning and I was stopped on a side street waiting for two police cars to help a car get going, then some woman slid past me, almost hit the cop, and rammed a car head on - in the snow.

I was on the way to get my allergy shots this morning when the service engine soon light came on ....again. It may be time to get a different car...verdict pending while my next door neighbor (who owns the auto repair shop a block from our house) checks it out.

....and the verdict is in....her transmission is going out. Time for the old girl (my car) to retire...but she is 14 years old. She's done well.

sheesh monkees fan....that's a mountain of snow. I hate the snow and the ice too. It's miserable.
