I love Charles Krauthammer. Growing up.... I lived in trailer houses, an old school bus converted to a camper, a house that my dad installed an indoor bathroom in when we moved in. Started babysitting 5 kids under the age of 5 when I was 11. Worked on a labor crew in the corn fields when I was 14. Worked at the local truck stop waiting tables, washing dishes and cooking when I was 15. Worked at an accounting office when I was 16. Graduated from high school when I was 17. Grew up with wood heat. We cut wood for four households...ours, both my grandpas and my dad's maiden aunt. After I left home I had an actual heater for the first time. Helped my sister and other kids from the neighborhood pass high school. I'm the first generation of my family to go to high school. while at the same time.... I was into yoga. Read 8 library books a week (my mom let me use her card too and you could check out 4 books on each card) Was the editor of my middle school newspaper and my high school yearbook Didn't pay attention to my grades but graduated near the top anyway ....I'm not sure there is a typical redneck. |

Dinty was driving home when, suddenly, he had to swerve to avoid a tree, then another, then another. A cop car pulled him over as he veered all over the road. Dinty told the cop about all the trees in the road.
The cop said, “For pete’s sake Dinty, that’s you air freshener swinging around!”
