My sister reads Mary Higgins Clark...I'll be sure and tell her about Someone is Watching. Bet she'd like it.

Someone Is Watching is by Joy Fielding. I've read the first hundred pages so far. Seems like it is moving slower than other books of hers I have read in the past.

yes it is...in the link you posted it said that her books are similar to Mary Higgins Clark so I thought she'd be another author my sister would like. : )
Maybe I should tell her to start with one of her earlier books though. Sometimes authors go through slumps. Many of my favorites have.

I've only ever attempted to read one Mary Higgins Clark book for a book club. I just didn't care for it. I think Joy Fielding is probably not much like Mary Higgins Clark, really, based on what little I have read and heard about Clark's books.

Miranda,
Someone once told me that if I liked reading Janet Evanovich, I'd really like Laurell K. Hamilton. I can't imagine what they were thinking.

I'm reading Janet Evanovitch's One For The Money right now. Or, I've started it anyway. I haven't gotten very far in it. It's for my book club.

That's a good one Miranda. It's the one the movie was made from...though I was really surprised at the casting.

I've never read any of these books before. I'm having a hard time getting into it, to be honest. Maybe it will get better as it goes along.

Miranda,
I really like Janet Evanovich's early books but if they aren't an easy read for you, they probably won't be your thing. Janet has one plot line that she writes over and over and over and over again. Even in her earlier books, before she started writing Stephanie Plum, she had characters who were Stephanie with a few minor changes. In her graphic novels, same thing. She just keeps rewriting the same book...and I do love her but it's what she does.

I just finished reading The Girl on the Train. Best fiction I have read in a long time.
Now I'm ready to read Ted Cruz's book.
